Overview

PIGSKIN was formed in 1997 in Siebnen (Switzerland). In the beginning the band played something between Hardcore and Crossover. Later the thrash influence of this Swiss 5 piece comes more and more to surface.

After 13 years, 2 albums and 2 e.p.'s the band saw just one line up change in the guitar section. PIGSKIN played more than 200 gigs and are well known for power laden live performance on a lot of festivals in and outside of Switzerland and as support for established acts like Testament, Lamb Of God, Napalm Death, Darkane, Murphys Law and Soulfly.

The new album "The Never Ending Black" was produced in Thunderfart Studio in Siebnen. The mix and mastering was given again in the hands of V.O. Pulver of Little Creek Studio in Gelterkinden (CH-BL). Again the band banned their intense and uncompromising riffings, great arrangements and a the tight drumwork on "The Never Ending Black" and deliver us once more a killer album where the listeners coudn't stand still.
